All of my paintings and designs have been named after friends and family who supported me whilst I underwent Open Heart Surgery in 2006 I often start painting late at night when everyone has gone to bed, as I find this time quite, relaxing and inspirational. I think of the friends and family who helped me during my illness. I usually paint with Acrylics on canvas, and most of my themes are flower related. Brilliant red poppies, dramatic sunflowers and vibrant pansies are just a few of the flowers I use, the designs are bold and eye catching with a Mediterranean feel which reflect my love of nature and plants in particular.
